How to Shoot a Beeman Kodiak Rifle

The Beeman Kodiak -- also known as the "Webley Patriot -- is a single-shot .25 caliber air rifle who's production has been discontinued. The rifle is a fully sized weapon that packs a meaty punch -- enough so that it can be used for rodent or bird hunting -- but requires some strength to load properly. Of course, none of this information is any good unless you know how to shoot it properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Flip the safety switch to the "on" position.

    • 2

Pull down on the barrel until it clicks out from the main body of the rifle.

    • 3

Pull the barrel all the way down until you hear another, louder click. You may need to brace the rifle butt against the ground in order to do this, as the Kodiak spring is very strong.

    • 4

Insert a pellet into the receiver at the back of the barrel, then raise the barrel back up until it clicks back into place.

    • 5

Position the butt against your shoulder, sight down the barrel at your target, flip off the safety switch and pull the trigger.
