How Set the Number of Icons on a BlackBerry

Smartphones are more important than ever

A BlackBerry phone can have icons on the home screen that take you to different applications or features of the phone. BlackBerry phones allow you to change the number of icons and layout of icons on the home screen.

Instructions

1. From your home screen click the Options icon. This is sometimes found in the menu if it is not on your home screen.

2. Click on "Advanced Options."

3. Click on the "Accessibility" option.

4. Select the option to change your grid layout.

5. Select the grid layout and number of icons that you would like displayed.

6. Press the Menu key and click "Save."

Tips & Warnings

• If there are any icons that you do not wish to see in your home screen, you can click on the options for that icon and select "Hide." You will not be able to see that icon until you go back and click on show in its options.

• Make sure you click "Save" when you are finished or you will have to repeat the process.
