How to Make a Regular Green Face Mask

How to Make a Regular Green Face Mask thumbnail
Green face masks can help draw out facial impurities.

Clay facial masks are known to help pull impurities out of your skin, which can result in a clearer, more radiant skin tone. Certain clays, like green montmorillonite clay, are especially helpful for troubled skin types. Although you can buy green face masks at a department store, they can often be costly and can contain ingredients that can be irritating to sensitive skin. One solution is to make your own green face masks at home using the basic materials that can be found at a soap making supply store.

Things You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup montmorillonite powdered clay
  • Bowl
  • Small scoop
  • 1/8 cup water
  • Measuring cup
  • Wooden tongue depressor
  • Glass jar with lid
