How to Make Valentine Candy Gift Mugs
Although traditionally for romantic couples, Valentine's Day has become a celebration of those who touch your heart. Candy gift mugs make a nice present for your favorite co-worker, a neighbor or a close friend to let them know you're thinking of them. Making a Valentine candy gift mug isn't difficult, but does require some decorative touches and basic wrapping skills.

1
Line the inside of the mug with a few sheets of tissue paper. The lining will prevent the candy from sticking to the inside of the mug. Press the paper down to the bottom with your hand.
-
2
Pour the candy to the brim of the paper-lined mug. Choose a candy that is either individually wrapped, like chocolate hearts, or something that is inherently non-sticky, like chocolates coated in hard-candy shell. Avoid gelatin based candies that can stick together and be difficult to remove individually.

3
Lay the cellophane flat on the counter or table and place the candy filled mug in the center. Pull the cellophane up from the bottom and around the edges of the mug, gathering it at the top and securing the remaining material with your hand. Tie a ribbon securely around the cellophane and attach a small card.
