Ceramic tiles can make stunning wall art, but the problem is how to hang them on the wall. After all, tile is hard-fired clay. You can't very well drill a couple holes in the back of a tile to twist in the eye screws or attach a metal hook with a couple of tiny nails. The tile would crack or break. But don't be discouraged. There is a way to easily hang tiles on your wall.

Step 1

Buy a package of metal picture sawtooth hooks in any store that sells framing supplies.

Step 2

Lay the ceramic tile face down on a towel to protect it from getting scratched.

Step 3

Place a dab of clear silicone glue on each end of the sawtooth hook. Center it in the middle of the tile and nearer to the top edge than the bottom one.

Step 4

Press the two rectangular metal tabs with the silicone glue against the back of the tile, making sure they are well seated in the glue. Allow the glue to dry overnight before hanging the tile on the wall. Pound a small finish nail into the wall at a steep angle and hang your tile.
