How to Connect KEF PSW2500 Subwoofers

The KEF PSW2500 subwoofer is a powered subwoofer built for use in home stereo and home theater audio systems. The PSW2500 has a built-in 250 watt amplifier and is available in a variety of finishes, designed to complement different home decors. The KEF PSW2500 uses a line-level signal input, so connecting the KEF PSW2500 only requires a single cable.

Things You'll Need

• Subwoofer cable with an RCA connector on both ends

Instructions

1. Set the power to the subwoofer in the "OFF" position using the switch on the subwoofer's control panel.

2. Plug one end of a subwoofer cable into the "LINE IN" jack on the subwoofer's control panel. The subwoofer cable and the jack are both RCA-style connectors. Simply push the plug all the way into the jack to make the connection.

3. Plug the other end of the subwoofer cable into the "SUB OUT" jack on the rear panel of your receiver or amplifier. The subwoofer cable and the jack are both RCA-style connectors. Simply push the plug all the way into the jack to make the connection.

4. Plug the subwoofer's power cord into a wall outlet or power strip. Set the power switch to "ON."
