Instructions

    • 1

Set the sink cutout provided by the manufacturer on the counter top and trace around it with a permanent marker. Use a ruler or tape measure to make sure the sink cutout is centered. Place the porcelain sink on the cutout upside down if you need to visualize how the sink will fit. This is where you will cut the hole for the sink.

    • 2

Drill a pilot hole with a saber saw and cut around the traced line. Place a wooden 2-by-4 below the cutout when coming close to finishing the cutout to support it so the piece does not fall to the floor.

    • 3

Add one drop of plumber's putty around the perimeter of the drain and push the drain assembly and washers into place. Tighten the locking nut to the drain with a wrench to connect the drain plumbing to the house water plumbing.

    • 4

Insert the faucet into the faucet holes in the sink. Apply a thin line of silicone adhesive to the bottom edge of the sink.

    • 5

Line up the sink with the front edge of the cut out in the counter. Push down firmly around the lip of the sink to create a tight seal.

    • 6

Add a thin bead of caulk around the perimeter of the sink after the adhesive has set. Smooth out the caulk with a damp cloth or wet finger.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always wear protective eye wear and gloves when using power tools.
