How to Replace the Trackball on a BlackBerry 8110
The BlackBerry Pearl takes its name from the trackball navigation tool at the top of the keyboard. Your BlackBerry Pearl 8110 may suffer damage from normal wear and tear, including the heavy use of the trackball. Without the trackball, navigating the phone's menu can be difficult. Replacing the trackball is a matter of accessing the compartment, removing the old unit and installing a new unit.
