How to Attach Curtain Rings to Pinched Pleat Curtains
Pinch-pleated draperies are historically used to create a formal window treatment. Suspended by concealed hooks on a traverse rod, the suspension hardware is unseen when the drapes were closed. To create a contemporary semiformal window treatment, many homeowners combine pinch-pleated drapes with curtain rings and wooden or decorative metal curtain rods. Installation is simple and quick, using curtain clip-rings. A clothespin-like tension clip is attached to each pleat. The clip is attached with a swivel to a curtain ring. The rings are threaded onto a curtain rod and the rod is installed onto mounted hardware. Installing curtain clip rings is a simple job that takes only minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
