How to Design Outfits for Online Games
Fashion design is a career that allows you to explore your creativity by making fashionable outfits. Before you become a designer, or even while you are one, you can practice by playing online games that allow you to design fashions. These games allow you to explore your own creativity and experiment with fashion without purchasing any materials. You can get some great fashion ideas from playing games online.

Choose one of the games on the GirlSense website (see Resources). Read through the titles of the games and find one you like. Click on the name to load the game. Some games start automatically. If yours does not, click on the "Play Game" button. After you load and begin a game that you'd like to play, choose the fashion pieces from the menus at the left- and right-hand sides. Click on each fashion piece in turn. It will automatically move to the model you have chosen. With some games, you can change colors of the fashion, and you can pick different models to go with different types of clothing. Do this by clicking on the different models to change them, or by clicking on the paintbrush, choosing a color, and clicking on the fashion you'd like to change.

After you have chosen a color or pattern, click on the area of the design you'd like to change.

Click on a game to choose it, and if the game does not start automatically, click the "Play" or "Start Game" button to begin. The games differ, but some allow you to use design tools such as the sew option and the paintbrush to create different fashions and try them on your models. Other games allow you to mix and match pieces and dress up models.
