Toothpaste is unsightly and annoying when it's dried onto your sink surface. Dried toothpaste can seem like a challenge to remove, but it's easier than you think. Calcium stains can also be mistaken for toothpaste stains, but they're more diffuse, covering a larger area of the basin with a white film. They're removed in the same way as dried toothpaste and toothpaste stains. Different sink materials may require different approaches, but with a little water and elbow grease, you can remove the dried gunk and make your sink look as good as new.
Step 1
Mix a solution of 1 cup vinegar and 1 tbsp. lemon juice and pour it into a spray bottle. Fill the bottle the rest of the way with warm water.

Thoroughly wet the dried toothpaste with the solution of vinegar and lemon juice. Both are mild acids and will begin to dissolve the toothpaste.
Step 3
Use an old toothbrush or a small scrub brush to scrub at the toothpaste, rinsing occasionally with clean water.
Step 4
Spray more of the vinegar solution whenever the toothpaste becomes dry.
Step 5
Rinse out the basin thoroughly.
