How to Troubleshoot a Panasonic Copier
Panasonic manufactures and sells multi-function business machines that include fax, scanning and copying functionality. Problems with the copying function can include the device not making a copy; poor copy results; and paper feeding problems. The manufacturer has included an error message reporting system that you can use to identify problems too. Issues with a Panasonic copier can be corrected.

1
Stop programming the Panasonic if you can't make a copy. Exit the programming mode before trying to copy.
-
2
Check the paper is inserted the correct way if results are poor. Certain types of non-office paper, like photographic, glossy and other presentation-style papers have a right and wrong way to print on. Try turning the paper over and trying the job again.

3
Verify that the paper is suitable for the Panasonic if you continue to have trouble with quality. Take a look at the packaging and make sure the cotton content is below 20 percent. Some resume and letterhead paper goes over this percentage and won't work right.

4
Replace the toner cartridge if problems persist. Shake the replacement toner before opening the bag, then open the bag and pull the seal off. Look for the "Open" tab on the front of the copier and open the cover by holding it. Pull the drum and toner assembly out. Remove the old toner that's embedded in the drum assembly, and replace it with the new one. Re-insert the assembly.

5
Check for error messages on the screen if you continue to have problems. They are output in plain English and are self-explanatory, including "Document Jammed." Open the document cover and identify the paper jam. Then, pull the paper out in the direction it was traveling.
