How to Enhance the Performance of Flash Games
Flash games are video games that are played via your Web browser without downloading anything to your computer. To play these games, Adobe's free Flash Player software needs to be installed on your computer. If you're finding that the games you play are sluggish or unnaturally slow, there are a few different things you can do to enhance the performance of Flash games on your computer.

1
Update your computer to the newest version of Flash. Adobe Flash Player has always been a free download from Adobe's own official website, so there is really no reason to not keep the player as updated as possible. Updating to newer versions of Flash improves the performance of all Flash based applications on your computer, not just browser games.

2
Update your Web browser. Using older versions of Web browsers will have adverse effects on sites that were designed to run in newer browsers. This includes affecting the performance of Flash games. Either go to the website of your browser and download the latest update or use Microsoft's Windows Update if you use Internet Explorer.

Shut down all other Web pages while you're playing your Flash game. Older computers may have a hard time multitasking, and if you have multiple pages open at once this could slow down your browser. Closing all browser windows except for your Flash game will allow you to play the game uninhibited by other activities that may be drawing resources away from your computer.
