How to Remove the Haze From Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile is used on many surfaces and requires cleaning just like any other area of the home. There are a wide variety of commercial tile cleaners on the market, but many leave behind a haze residue after the cleaning solution has dried onto the ceramic tile. To keep the tile looking its best, you want to instead use a cleaning solution that thoroughly cleans the tile without leaving residue behind.

Things You'll Need

• Bucket
• Water
• White vinegar
• Cleaning mop

Instructions

1. Mix 1 gallon water and 1 cup white vinegar in a bucket.

2. Dip your cleaning mop into the mixture and twist out the mop to release excess water.

3. Wipe this mop over your ceramic tile. Dip the mop back into the water every 30 seconds or so, and continue until you clean all of the tile.

4. Let the tile air dry. Examine to see if any haze remains. If so, clean again with a fresh mixture of the vinegar and water.

5. Replace your regular cleaner with this inexpensive homemade cleaning routine for a streak-free cleaning that leaves no haze behind.
