How to Jump in "Mario Kart Wii"
"Mario Kart Wii" offers a drift feature that allows you to make turns on tight bends on the track without losing speed. With the automatic drift setting, the game executes a drift for you. With the manual drift setting, you'll jump or hop your vehicle to start a drift and continue to drift for a few seconds to get a mini-turbo speed boost. By timing a jump just right, you can also avoid a hazard thrown at you by another racer. Both the jump feature and the mini-turbo boost are only available with the manual drift setting.
