Instructions

    • 1

Place a sheet of craft paper onto a table or counter top.

    • 2

Cut flat kitchen sponges with the scissors into whimsical shapes, such as hearts, stars and moons.

    • 3

Pour acrylic paint into a bowl.

    • 4

Dip one side of the sponge into the paint, and use it to stamp the paint onto the craft paper. Stamp the sponge every 2 inches. Allow the paint to dry completely before wrapping your gifts with the handmade wrapping paper.

    • 5

Make a card. Fold a piece of 8-inch by 10-inch construction paper in half width wise. Press the fold to make it flat.

    • 6

Write a message onto the front of the card using paint pens.

    • 7

Sprinkle glitter over the wet paint, then allow it to dry.

    • 8

      Shake off the excess glitter.

    • 9

Draw designs, such as spirals or swirls, around the edges of the card using glitter glue.

    • 10

Allow the glue to dry completely before placing it into an envelope.
