Instructions

    • 1

Brush seat covers with a wire-bristled brush once a week to keep the wool fluffy and soft, and to lift away light soil. Do not pull the brush through the wool so hard that you pull wool out in the brush bristles.

    • 2

Vacuum the seat covers once or twice a month to remove surface dirt and keep them soft. Use the brush attachment to go over the surface to remove dust and to make the wool stand straight again.

    • 3

Remove your seat covers when they become especially soiled. Shake the seat covers out thoroughly to remove dust and dirt.

    • 4

Wash covers if brushing and a brisk shaking won't remove soil. Fill a plastic dish tub with slightly warm water and add a capful of mild laundry soap. Swirl the water and soap to make bubbles.

    • 5

Add one seat cover to the dish tub at a time and gently agitate it in the soapy water with your hands for several minutes.

    • 6

Remove the seat cover from the soapy water and rinse it under cool water. Squeeze the seat cover gently to remove moisture.

    • 7

Place a large towel on a flat surface and stretch the seat cover over the towel to dry it. Stretch seat covers out as they dry by pulling the edges in opposite directions with your hands. This will help keep the seat covers from shrinking. Run your hand through the wool fibers to see if they are completely dry. When the wool feels dry, remove it from the towel. Drying seat covers could take several days.

    • 8

Brush the dry seat covers to get the wool fluffy again.

    • 9

Return the clean seat covers to the seats.
