How to Replace the Fuel Pump in a 1987 Nissan Maxima
The Nissan Maxima uses an electric fuel pump. If the fuel pump becomes damaged it can seriously affect the performance of the engine as the car will no longer be able to pump fuel effectively around the engine assembly. When this occurs you should look to replace the fuel pump. You can pick up a replacement fuel pump for your 1987 Nissan Maxima from an auto parts store.
