How to Install Wireless Roadrunner

You can set up a wireless network to be used with your Time Warner Roadrunner Internet connection by connecting a wireless network router to your Roadrunner cable modem. Your wireless router will broadcast an Internet signal that can be picked up by computers anywhere within the broadcast range. Setting up a wireless network for your Roadrunner Internet connection should take about 30 minutes to complete.

Things You'll Need

• Wireless router
• Ethernet cord

Instructions

1. Remove the power cord from your cable modem.

2. Connect an Ethernet cable to your cable modem, and connect the other end to the port labeled "WAN" on your wireless mode.

3. Plug in the power cord to your cable modem. Wait for the "Online" light to illuminate.

4. Connect the power cord to your wireless router. Connect the other end to an available wall outlet. Once the "Online" light on your router has illuminated, your wireless network has been set up.
