How to Cut With a Beveling Machine
A beveling machine is a tool that cuts the ends of pipes and cylinders to create an angled, beveled edge for various construction applications. Beveled edges are often used to create a tight, well-fitting joint between two different pieces or just for offsetting a surface. Using the machine is very simple, and you can learn to easily cut your materials in no time at all. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Fit the pipe in a vise so it is held securely in a horizontal position. The opening you are cutting should be pointing toward you for better access.
-
2
Choose the beveling blade from the machine set to achieve the cut you want. The angle of the blade will affect the angle of the beveled edge.
-
-
3
Insert the blade shank into the small hole around the collar of the machine. The collar is the round piece of the machine, just above the length of the adjustable pipe sticking out in the front.
-
4
Use one of the included Allen wrenches to tighten the blade in the machine. The edge of the blade should be parallel to the length of pipe.
-
5
Insert the adjustable pipe inside the pipe in the vise. Use the knob on the back of the machine to expand the internal pipe until the machine is gripping the outer pipe.
-
6
Tighten the knob a little further using a wrench to ensure a firm joint between the pipe and machine. Start the machine, and allow the blade to cut the edge into a bevel.

Tips & Warnings
Use a lesser-angled blade if you are unsure of which one to use. You can always go over the pipe again with a more extreme one if needed.
