How to Make a Piano Wind Chime
Wind chimes have been used throughout history for a variety of reasons. Spiritual leaders used them for healing purposes and to keep away evil spirits. Farmers used them to scare away animals from their fields. Today, wind chimes are mainly used for decoration and come in all shapes, sizes and types of material. If you want your own wind chime, but would like to have something different than what's commonly found in stores, craft your own wind chime out of pieces of a piano.

Tips & Warnings
To make a larger wind chime, you need a bigger cross, more keys and cord. Evenly space your keys to ensure they all hit the black center key.
Piano keys, especially the small black ones, split easily. Reduce the risk of this happening by using a fast drill with the smallest bit possible.
