Skin can look even with just a thin layer of spray makeup foundation. Spray foundation, also known as airbrush makeup, is sprayed out of a can and is available in a variety of shades to match almost any skin tone. Though it takes some practice, spraying this foundation will end up being simple and beneficial. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Shake the can of spray foundation for a few seconds and then open it by removing its cap. Test it on a tissue or on your hand to see if the nozzle sprays correctly. Clean the nozzle with a tissue if it is clogged.

    • 2

Stand in front of a mirror and hold the can about 6 inches away from your face. Keep your eyes open or closed depending on your preferences. Keeping eyes open helps you see the effects of the spray foundation, but spay carefully to avoid getting any product into your eyes.

    • 3

Press the nozzle of the spray foundation can gently and move down starting with your forehead. You will notice that imperfections will diminish and your face will start to look even toned and smooth. Move the can over your entire face slowly, ending with your chin.

    • 4

Look at your face. If it does not look flawless, repeat the process to add another light layer.

    • 5

Spray foundation over other body parts such as your neck, chest or arms if you want to cover imperfections. Put the cap back on to close the spray foundation.

    • 6

Wipe away any foundation from eyelids or lips with a tissue. Gently rub away any excess spray foundation from your face using a clean tissue.

    • 7

Rub the foundation under your eyes with your fingers for a thinner, more natural look if necessary. Fix the foundation with your fingers if it needs fixing anywhere else for a natural, flawless look.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose a spray foundation that is closest to your skin tone for a best effect.

  • Use concealer on dark spots such as under eyes or on acne as desired for extra coverage prior to applying spray foundation.

  • Apply makeup such as eye makeup or lip makeup either before or after spraying foundation. Always apply blush after spraying on foundation for a fresh flush of color.
