Instructions

    • 1

Take off the cap of the hydration pack. Place a small amount of dish soap or sodium bicarbonate into the bladder. Fill the pouch three-quarters full with hot water. Place the cap back on.

    • 2

Shake the water-filled bladder for a minute. Take the cap off and drain the water. Do not rinse.

    • 3

Use the foam paintbrush to clean the crevices inside of the bladder with the remaining soap and water residue.

    • 4

Remove the plastic tube from the bladder. Remove the bite valve from the tube. Wrap a damp paper towel around the wire.

    • 5

Push the towel-wrapped wire through the hydration tube. Repeat two to three times for best results.

    • 6

Attach the bite valve to the hydration hose. Attach the hose to the bladder. Fill the pouch three-quarters full with very hot water. Shake the bladder. Drain the bladder.

    • 7

If the hydration pack is still dirty, fill with water and one teaspoon of baking soda. Let the pack sit over night. Repeat step 6.

Tips & Warnings

  • To maintain a clean hydration pack, use only water, not sports drinks or other liquids.

  • After every use, remove the hydration tube and the pouch cap in order for the pack to dry. This will help prevent molding.

  • Be sure to use hot water and rinse thoroughly after using baking soda or sodium bicarbonate.
