How to Airbrush Honda Bikes

Honda motorcycles or bikes can be painted or airbrushed to suit your preferences. You can have the bike professionally painted or you can airbrush the bike yourself. To airbrush a Honda bike you need to sand the bike first, then you can airbrush the bike to match your preference.

  • Sandpaper
  • Wet water towel
  • Dry towel
  • Airbrush paint gun
  • Air compressor
  • Airbrush paint primer
  • Airbrush paint color

Instructions

    • 1

      Hold the sandpaper on the smooth side. Place the rough side of the sandpaper on an area of the bike that you want to airbrush.

      Press the sandpaper into the bike area that you want to airbrush and move the sandpaper in a clockwise motion. Continue wiping the area with the sandpaper until the original paint is removed. Continue the sanding process on any other area of the bike that you want to paint.

      Wipe any remaining particles away from the sanded area with a towel wet with water. Dry the water away from the area with a dry towel.

      Connect the air compressor to the paint gun by following the instructions included with your paint gun.

      Connect the airbrush paint primer to the paint gun by following the instructions included with your paint gun. Squeeze the paint gun trigger and paint the area you sanded earlier with the primer. Continue the process to complete priming all the areas you sanded. Allow the primer to set for six hours.

      Attach the color you want to paint your bike with to the paint gun by following the instructions included with your paint gun.

      Paint over the primer with the color you selected by squeezing the trigger of the paint gun. Continue the process of painting until you achieve the airbrushed look you want.
