How to Tie Knots on Fishing Worms
Fishing-worm hooks can catch most species of freshwater fish. The advantage to using a fishing-worm hook is that you don't need to catch a worm and thread it onto a hook. The "worm" of a fishing-worm hook is made from rubber or plastic, and can be reused. The hooks tie to a line the same way as a regular hook. Fishing-worm hooks are ideal for casting in open water.
Instructions

1
Cut 2 feet of fishing line from the end of the main line.
-
2
Slide the line through a No. 8 or under-worm hook. Slide the hook to the center of the line.
-
-
3
Wrap one end of the line around the opposite side approximately six times. A loop should have formed around the hook's eye.
-
4
Feed the ends of the line through the loop you formed above the hook's eye. Bring the line back through the large loop formed when you brought the two ends through the small loop. Moisten the knot and pull it tight.
-
5
Tie a swivel to the line using the same knot.
