How to Claim Unclaimed Money In Florida
Financial institutions in Florida must turn over unclaimed assets to the state, which manages them until the rightful owner can be found. Unclaimed assets include abandoned bank accounts, unreturned utility company deposits, uncashed insurance and pension checks and similar financial holdings. Unclaimed assets also include material goods, like jewelry and stock certificates, left in abandoned safety deposit boxes. You can search for and claim unclaimed money in Florida with online tools.
