How to Make a Peace Sign Ornament
Spread the message of peace with an ornament that displays a peace sign. This ornament can be used to adorn a Christmas tree, used as a gift or can be hung in your window to promote peace year-round. If you're a parent or a teacher, make this craft with kids to teach them about the importance of peace. Not only will they gain a valuable lesson, but they'll also be engaged in an enjoyable craft-making activity.

1
Cut a craft stick in half. Paint the two halves of the cut craft stick and a whole craft stick any color you'd like. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle glitter on top of the sticks.
-
2
Lay the whole craft stick in a vertical position. Glue the halves of the cut craft stick to either side of the bottom of the vertical stick forming a peace sign.
-
-
3
Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to encircle the piece sign. Place a dot of glue on each point of the peace sign and attach the ribbon to the glue, forming a circle around the sign.
-
4
Tie a length of yarn into a loop. Glue the loop of yarn onto the back of the peace sign near the top of the vertical craft stick.

Tips & Warnings
For a less messy alternative, instead of using paint and glitter, use markers and stickers to decorate the peace sign.
