  • Water
  • Pot
  • Coffee
  • Leave-in conditioner
  • Applicator brush

      Pour 1 1/2 cups water into a pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Add 6 tbsp. instant coffee to the pot of water and let it steep for 15 minutes.

      Add 1/4 cup of leave-in conditioner to the coffee mixture. Stir until it becomes the mixture turns into a paste. Let it cool completely.

      Start with the front section of your hair. Dip an applicator, such as a make-up brush, into the coffee and conditioner paste. Apply the paste to your hair starting at the roots. Pin back each section as you go along. Continue applying the mixture until you have covered sections of your hair with the paste. Allow the mixture to stay in your hair for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how dark you want your hair.

      Rinse hair completely with water and towel dry. Repeat this process once a week to maintain your hair color.
