How to Set a Barometer Alarm
A barometer measures the pressure in the atmosphere. An alarm is set on a digital barometer to alert the user to changes in that pressure. The change in pressure usually indicates a change in the weather. There are a variety of digital barometers on the market, and all will have some specific instructions unique to the make and model. However, when it comes to setting the alarm, the procedures among digital barometers are rather similar.

Tips & Warnings
The alarm will go off when there is a change in air pressure to the degree you specified. The alarm on most digital or electronic barometers will continue to sound for a few minutes and flash an "AL" warning on the screen for up to an hour.
