Sony Bravia flat-screen LCD televisions display crisp, high-quality picture images. These TV screens need to be cleaned with care, as they are not made of glass like most traditional television sets. Using the wrong cleaning products can quickly damage the TV screen, but avoiding cleaning will leave you with a dull, smudged view over time. Instead, incorporate a regular cleaning routine that will remove buildup without harming the screen.

Step 1

Pour 1/4 cup of distilled water into a small spray bottle, followed by 1/4 cup of 70 percent isopropyl rubbing alcohol (the type used to treat cuts and scrapes).

Step 2

Wipe the Sony Bravia screen with a microfiber cloth, which will collect dust without scratching the screen surface the way a paper towel or other harsh cloth would do.

Step 3

Spray the microfiber cloth with the cleaning solution until the cloth is damp, then wipe it over the television screen.

Step 4

Wipe in even strokes from one side to the other, starting at the top of the screen and working your way to the bottom.
