Tips & Warnings
The best way to avoid hazing on a granite countertop is to dry it completely each time you get it wet.
Check to make sure your countertop still has an effective seal by placing a small pool of water on the countertop surface. If the water stays pooled, the seal is working. If the water soaks into the granite, you need to reseal your countertop. Generally, granite countertops require resealing twice a year.
Never use ammonia, lemon juice or vinegar on a granite countertop. The acids present in these products may etch the surface.
Never scour your countertop with abrasive cleaners.
