How to Upload PDF Files to an iPhone

The iPhone allows you to open PDF documents in Mail.

Apple introduced the first iPhone in June 2007. By the end of that year, the device had sold around 3 million units. The multimedia iPhone handles a variety of files, including photos, music, video and Microsoft Word documents. It is also capable of handling PDF files for those who need them on the go.

Things You'll Need

• iPhone
• mAPPn Discover iPhone App with wireless Internet connection (optional)

Instructions

Via Email

1. Save the PDF file on your computer where you can locate it.

2. Send yourself an email with the PDF file attached to the email.

3. Open the email application on the iPhone and locate the message with the PDF attached.

4. Click on the attachment inside the email message.

Via mAPPn Discover App

1. Save the PDF file on your computer where you can locate it.

2. Download the Discover application by mAPPn from the iTunes App Store and install it to your iPhone.

3. Open the Discover application and note the Internet address it gives you.

4. Navigate your computer's Web browser to the address provided.

5. Find the PDF file by clicking on "Add Files" in the "Upload Queue" of the page.

6. Select "Upload All".

7. Select the PDF inside the Discover app.

Tips & Warnings

• You must first set up your email account on your iPhone for the email method.

• The Discover app must be connected to the same wireless network as your iPhone.

• The Discover app allows you to set a password to secure your files.
