How to Tie a Karate Belt for a Photo
Although you may be content with tying your Karate belt in a simple knot for class, tying it correctly for photos and matches is quite important. A belt tied according to specifications shows your knowledge of and respect for Karate. Although there are several ways to tie a belt, it should sit above the hips, be firmly secured, not cross itself at the back and have ends of equal length that extend downward.
