Chocolate-covered strawberries make decadent desserts and gifts. Customize your own strawberries by dipping fresh, plump strawberries into dark, milk or white chocolate. Decorate the sweet treats with drizzles of colorful frosting, nuts, toasted coconut flakes or pieces of candy. If you received chocolate-covered strawberries as a gift and can't eat them right away, or if you made a batch for an upcoming party, store them properly for the best flavor.   • Paper baking cups
  • Plastic storage container with an air-tight lid

      Place each chocolate-covered strawberry into an individual paper baking cup to keep them separated during storage.

      Set the strawberry-filled cups side-by-side in a shallow plastic storage container. Don't layer the strawberries. Use more than one container if you have a lot of strawberries to store.

      Press an air-tight lid onto the plastic storage container.

      Store the container of strawberries in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Allow the strawberries to sit at room temperature for half an hour before eating them for the best taste.
