Moving a Cisco IP phone requires unplugging and replugging in cables.

Cisco Technologies has a line of Internet phones for offices, small businesses and home use. Modern IP phones have many features, including voice mail, hands-free speakerphone capability, conference calling and built-in headset connectivity. It is easy to move your Cisco IP phone should the need arise.

Instructions

    • 1

Unplug all wires and connections from the back of the Cisco IP phone you wish to move.

    • 2

Pick up and move the Cisco IP phone and its wires.

    • 3

Connect the wires and connections when the Cisco IP phone is in its new location. Be certain to connect the cable from the wall outlet into the 10/100 SW jack. The cable from the PC should go into the 10/100 PC jack if the Cisco IP phone is to be hooked up to a computer.
