How to Set a Focus in WoW

"World of Warcraft" was released in 2004 for the PC. There are times when you need to set a secondary target. You can set a focus that will always provide that character or enemy's health, mana and spells they are casting even when they are not being actively selected. This is helpful when you are a healer, allowing you to keep your focus on one character who will need constant healing while you target an enemy or another ally at the same time.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the character or enemy on which you wish to set the focus. The character portrait will be displayed next to yours in the top-left corner of the screen.

    • 2

      Right-click on the character portrait.

    • 3

Click "Set Focus" from the pop-up menu. The character portrait and all relevant details will appear. This is that character's or enemy's focus, which will remain on the screen while you target someone else.

Tips & Warnings

  • To remove the focus, right-click on the focus's character portrait. Select "Remove Focus."
