Instructions

    • 1

Find the antenna connection. All televisions made before coaxial inputs have an antenna that is connected to the television with two metal connections that are attached by screws. Use the adjustable screwdriver to loosen the connections and disconnect the antenna. Leave the screws loose and attached to the television.

Attach the RF modulator. The modulator will have a connection similar to the antenna's. Attach it in the same manner and gently screw it back into the TV. Gently tighten the screws with care not to strip them.

    • 3

Attach the VCR to the modulator. A modulator can use a coaxial connection or a component connection. Use the proper cable to connect the VCR to the modulator. Check the modulator's instructions to fix the settings. Check the VCR's documentation to ensure the proper channels for playback. Power on the VCR to check the connection.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the picture has a lot of static, loosen the antenna screws and reattach the modulator with special care to retightening the screws.
