How Install Emtec 100K

The Emtec 100K is the webcam that is included in the VOIP starter kit designed for personal computers. The Emtec 100K starter kit includes a headset with a microphone and a webcam. After purchasing the starter kit, you will need to install the 100K webcam to your computer. Your Emtec VOIP starter kit will include a software installation disc, which includes the necessary drivers. The webcam connects to your computer via a USB cable. As of 2010, the Emtec 100K webcam is no longer supported by Emtec.

Instructions

1. Insert the driver installation disc into your computer's optical drive. Follow the simple step-by-step instructions to install the drivers.

2. Place the Emtec 100K webcam on top of your monitor. If you are using a laptop, place the webcam next to the laptop.

3. Connect the USB cable extending from the back of your webcam to an empty USB port on your computer.
