You can make a ribbon-edged wreath to celebrate a new baby.

Wreaths can be hung up on your walls or doors during many different holidays, including evergreen wreaths for Christmas, egg wreaths for Easter and leaf wreaths for Thanksgiving. You can even give a beautifully decorated wreath when celebrating the birth of a new baby. Baby wreaths can be created using fresh flowers, and decorated with ribbon to symbolize the gender of the new arrival. For example, you can make a wreath with pink ribbon edges for a girl baby, or a blue one for a boy.
