  • Cat litter
  • Push broom
  • Powdered laundry detergent

      Pour a liberal amount of cat litter over the oil spot on your paved driveway. The cat litter will absorb much of the excess oil. Let It sit overnight.

      Use a push broom to sweep up the cat litter.

      Add a liberal amount of powdered laundry detergent to the oil spot on your paved driveway. Add enough water to turn the detergent into a thick paste and let it sit overnight.

      Add more water in the morning and scrub the laundry detergent into the paved driveway using a stiff scrub brush. Continue to add water to keep the consistency of the paste and scrub until the stain is gone.

      Pour very hot, near boiling water onto your paved driveway to rinse the area clean.
