How to Synchronize a Blackberry Smartphone With Lotus Notes

IBM's Lotus Notes application enables users to read and send business e-mails, browse the Internet, create schedules and organize data. To use Lotus Notes with a Blackberry smartphone, the two first must be synchronized. Use Blackberry's desktop software program to synchronize the devices.

Instructions

Visit the BlackBerry website to download the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Run the program when the download completes. Choose your desired language, then agree to the application's terms and conditions.

    • 2

Click on an installation directory for the application, then choose "Typical" installation. Select "Integrate with a work e-mail account."

    • 3

Click "For IBM Lotus Domino," then click "Next." Double click on the "Desktop Manager" icon on the computer's desktop to open it.

    • 4

Enter your Lotus Notes password and user name, then click "OK." You are taken to the Blackberry Desktop Software main menu. Click "Synchronize." On the new page, click "Synchronize" again. The synchronization process begins. The software notifies you once the process is completed.
