DIY DSL Splitters
DSL, or digital subscriber line Internet, is a form of broadband Internet connection. Similar to dial-up, DSL runs through phone lines, but unlike dial-up, DSL does not tie up your phone lines and calls can still be made without interrupting the Internet connection. Accessing the Internet through DSL is much faster than using the Web through a dial-up connection. DSL can transfer data at much faster rates and can access Internet applications that dial-up cannot. Since DSL lines input into one phone jack, you will need a splitter to connect the phone and computer.
