How to Make My Volume Louder on My Motorola Q

The Motorola Q is a Smartphone, packed with such features as a full keyboard, high-speed data capabilities and Windows Mobile 5. This device also comes with a built-in camera, speakerphone and miniSD memory card reader. The phone's volume can be adjusted both for how loud the ringer is when an incoming call is received, and for how loud the media player volume playback is. Manipulating the phone's volume comes in handy during meetings or in other business settings when a loud ringtone would be unappreciated. Increasing the phone's volume can be accomplished using the "Menu" screen.

Instructions

Adjust the Ringer Volume

1. Starting at the "Home" screen, select "Profile," and then "Menu."

2. Select "Edit" from the menu, then scroll down and select "Ring Volume."

3. Use the "Left" and "Right" buttons to adjust the ring tone's volume.

Adjust the Media Player Volume

1. Select "Start," and then "Windows Media" to launch the player.

2. Press the Navigation button to the left or right to select a video, then press the "Enter" button to play the video.

3. Press the Navigation button up to increase the Media Player's volume.
