How to Grill Asparagus on a George Foreman Grill
George Foreman offers more than 40 types of grills, all of which have the ability for cooking vegetables. Asparagus is typically available for purchase throughout the year, but is harvested during the spring and early summer. Fresh asparagus is firm to the touch and can vary in size. Small and large asparagus, if fresh and tender, should have the same flavor. Use different coatings or marinades on the asparagus before grilling on the George Foreman grill to enhance the flavor. Things You'll Need
- 1 lb. asparagus spears
- Paper towel
- Cutting knife
- Vegetable or asparagus peeler
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper

Wash the asparagus thoroughly with water and dry with a paper towel.

Cut off the ends of your asparagus with a sharp knife or snap off the ends.

Peel the outside, tough layer of the asparagus with a vegetable or asparagus peeler.

Brush asparagus spears with 1 tbs. light olive oil. Sprinkle spears with small amount of salt and pepper.

Warm up the George Foreman grill.

Grill the sliced asparagus for two to four minutes. Grilling time may be longer, depending on grill heat.
