How to Download "Guitar Hero" Aerosmith Songs on the Wii

You can update all your old "Guitar Hero" game songs into three newer versions of the game on a Wii.

Guitar Hero is a popular game for the Wii, and in recent years it has become easier to get songs by download on this game console. Any earlier Wii Guitar Hero game's songs can be imported into "Band Hero," "Guitar Hero 5" or "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock," including "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith." Things You'll Need

• Wii Console
• Internet connection
• "Band Hero," "Guitar Hero 5" or "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" game disc
• "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" case, with manual

Instructions

Importing Guitar Hero Tracks on the Wii

1. Insert your game disc into the Wii, and start the game. Make sure your Wii console is connected to the internet.

2. Have your "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" or other "Guitar Hero" disc and case in hand. Navigate to "Shop" from the main menu.

3. Scroll down to "Special Offers" and select the game with the songs that you want to import, for instance, "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith."

4. Find the manual inside your game's case. On the back of the manual is an ID number. Input this ID number in the space provided on your screen.

5. The screen will ask you to confirm the download. Confirm, and wait while the songs load onto your console's hard drive. Do not exit the game or turn off your console while the songs are downloading.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are importing "Guitar Hero: World Tour" you will first need to go to the main menu in "Shop," download the free music content update for "Guitar Hero: World Tour" and follow Steps 2 to 5.

• Save your game cases and manuals when opening a new game. You made need the game ID in the future for tasks like this.
