How to Use Foam Board to Make a Mouse Pad
Mousepads are mass produced and can be purchased with many different scenes: cartoons, landscapes, plain colors and photographs. If you are having a hard time finding a mousepad in a design you like, why not just create your own with a design that's perfect for you.

1
Cut out a piece of foam core with a craft knife that measures 8 inches on all four sides.
-
2
Cut a piece of fabric from a T-shirt. One piece should measure 10 inches on all sides. Get creative here. If you have an old shirt with a fun logo on it, cut out the logo as the 10-inch piece of fabric.

3
Spray adhesive onto one side of the foam core and place the 10-inch piece of T-shirt fabric on the foam core. Be sure to center as best you can, with an even amount of fabric on both sides.
-
4
Use a credit card to smooth out any creases or bubbles that are caused from the fabric being glued to the foam core. This shouldn't be needed, but just in case, a credit card works best.
-
5
Flip the foam core over so that the side without the fabric is facing you. Carefully spray adhesive to the edges of the back side and fold the remaining fabric over to secure it in place. Fold the top and bottom edge over first, followed by the left and the right to get a smooth fold.
-
6
Color your fabric or write a message using fabric markers.
