How to Play Singles on Wii Sports

"Wii Sports" for the Nintendo Wii features five different sports games, including tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. The tennis game in particular allows players to compete in a single match, a set of three matches or a total of five. If you are a first-time "Wii Sports" player, selecting a "Singles" match against the computer is an efficient method to familiarize yourself with the game.

Instructions

1. Turn on the Wii and insert your "Wii Sports" game disc. Start the game and allow it to load its main menu.

2. Select "Tennis" from the list of available games. Select the number of players you wish to play with.

3. Press "OK" to confirm your default "Mii" selection, or press "Change" to pick another character.

4. Select "Single Game" by pressing the "A" button on the Wii remote. This mode allows players to compete on a single "Wii Sports" tennis match.
