How to Unclog a Drain With Bleach
A clogged drain does not happen all at once. Usually a buildup of hair and bacteria makes up a clog. The bacteria and hair can combine to form a plug in the drain. This plug can completely stop the water from moving down the drain or it may slow it down significantly. The combination of bleach and a sink plunger can dissolve the clog so the water can freely move down the drain. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Pour at least 16 oz. of bleach into the clogged drain.
-
2
Place the plunger directly over the drain in the sink. Ensure that the plunger is flat against the bottom of the sink to provide the plunger with a good seal.
-
-
3
Block the overflow port in the side of the sink, if there is one, with your finger or a rag. If you do not block the hole, the water will be forced out of it and not down into the drain.
-
4
Push the plunger into the drain using quick short jabs. You will feel the suction building as you plunge the drain. The plunger will force the bleach into the drain and it should dissolve and push the clog out. Use bleach on a regular basis to maintain the drain and keep it free of bacteria.
