How to Correct the Air Pressure for 275x35x19 Nitto Tires
Nitto builds high quality tires for cars and trucks and they come in a variety of sizes depending on the intended vehicle. If you own a vehicle that uses tires with a dimension set of 275 by 35 by 19, you will need to ensure the tire is inflated at an optimal pressure level to get the best response from your Nitto tires. Tire pressure is measured in PSI, or pound force per square inch, and you can use a tire air inflation device to fill the tires accordingly.

1
Check the inside door jamb of your vehicle for specifics on what the optimal PSI level for the tires should be. Nitto recommends these tires have a PSI of 50, but the car manufacturer often varies this number slightly with the front tires differing from the back tires. Open the door and look inside the frame for a tire card or sticker that lists the preferred PSI levels.

2
Remove the caps on the air valves for all four tires. It is best to check the air pressure when the temperature is cold as heat can distort the pressure readings.

3
Place the tire gauge on each valve and apply pressure until the device gets a reading on the tire PSI levels. Many air pumps will include a tire gauge which measures the PSI as long as you aren't holding down the air pump bar. You can either use the air pumps at your local gas station or you can use a home portable pump and tire gauge that connects to your car's power source, usually through the cigarette outlet.

Use the air pump to add more air to the tire until you reach the desired PSI level for each tire. It is a good idea to regularly check the pressure as natural conditions will slowly cause your tires to lose air pressure. Rapid loss of pressure might signal a tear in the tire itself. If the tire pressure is higher than desired, press the air pump to the tire valve until you hear a loud sound signaling air is being released.
