How to Use Carpet As Mulch
Mulch is an important aspect of any outdoor landscaping project and is made of a variety of materials including bark, pine straw, hay and rocks. The purpose of mulch is to prevent moisture from evaporating out of the soil and to prevent weed and grass seed from sprouting. Although mulch is available at any home and garden center, you can also use items that you have around the house. One effective mulch is old carpet scraps. Does this Spark an idea?
